Public Speaking

Farming, Gardening, Baking, and Cooking...it's all about food and how we grow it.  Civic, farm, or social organization...all partake in breaking bread.
We eat every day.

Or at least that is our hope!  We hear about how we need to raise food....and a lot more of it.  And the exciting thing to me is that we are all asking a whole lot more questions!  People are waking up to what farming is all about.  I believe that is no accident.  Know it or not, your curiosity and desire to know more is part of what makes you a creation in the image of God.

Very few of us in the United States have any connection to farming.  Even farmers are becoming frustrated with farming!  That is why about 80,000 farms produce about 41% of all farm revenues, according to the 2012 USDA census.  WOW! No wonder people are wakening up.

Let's share some stories....not made up...but real and honest discourse based on what is going on today in the world of agriculture in the United States. Be informed and challenged to consider what it is that we face today framed in Biblical perspective.

Some of us want to become self-sufficient

Use to be a time, not so long ago, that if you wanted to be self-sufficient you were looked as "one of those".  But there is a reawakening with the Old Ways of gardening, canning, and homesteading. The Millennial Generation wants to learn and get back in touch with what it is that they eat.  The desire is there to learn and do.  Vegetarian or omnivore, gardening or hydroponics, organic or not...there is a reawakening.

Profitable Growth Services, LLC has a passion for teaching individuals the art and science of being self-sustaining and regaining the confidence and desire to grow one's own food.  The United States was blessed with immense resources and has an agrarian land mass that is second in size only to Russia.  Yet, sadly, we have lost the art and passion of farming and gardening.  We work to reignite that desire of self-sustainability.

Let's talk about it and share ideas on what it is to produce food.  What's safe and what isn't.  Push each other to think and consider so that informed decisions are made.
